FEELING BLUE-GREEN TODAY /Scottish scarf - English/Deutsch/italiano

These are the coldest days of this winter in Milan, but with a beautiful sun and much light. Too warm for shearling or eiderdown anyway. This jeans gore skirt (second half of '80) is a little bit dark, so I lighten it with a light blue-green-marroon cashmere men's sweater and a big and fluffy vintage Scottish mohair scarf in the same colors as the sweater, marked 'CRAIG-NA-CREIDHE - in the Burns' country, Ayrshire'.

It is very difficult to understand the production date of Scottish scarfs as they were made n the same way all over the 20th century, and even the labels often remained unaltered from the 1950' to 1970'. This one is very soft on the skin (unlike the older ones that scratch), and has an additional label that says 'Old Dress Black Watch', so I think it's newer.

Decided to use my dark grey Emanuel Ungaro Collection (already seen here ) coat a lot now, as in 15 years I rarely donned it - it is floor-length and requires very high platform boots....

Schottischer Mohair-Schal

Es ist jetzt recht kalt aber sonnig in Mailand, und ich habe mir gedacht, dass das der richtige Moment für diesen hübschen aber doch ein wenig düsteren Jeans-Bahnenrock (Ende der 80er Jahre) ist, wenn ich ihn mit einem grossen Männer-Kaschmirpulli in grün-hellblau-rostbraun aufhelle. Der Tartan-Schal hat genau die gleichen Farben (mit Etikette CRAIG-NA-CREIDHE - in the Burns' country, Ayrshire'

Es ist sehr schwer, das Produktionsdatum dieser Schals herauszufinden, denn sie wurden im ganzen 20. Jahrhundert fast gleich gemacht. Auch die Etiketten blieben von ca. 1950-70 mehr oder weniger sie selben. Dieser hier ist sehr schön weich und kratzt nicht ein bisschen (die älteren üblicherweise sehr..) und hat ausserdem noch ein Schild 'Old Dress Black Watch', was mich annehmen lässt dass er ca. aus den 80er Jahren ist.

Wollte auch meinen grauen Emanuel Ungarn Collection Mantel (schon hier gezeigt) verwenden, da ich ihn schon 15 Jahre habe und fast nie anziehe - er wischt nämlich ohne die Plateau-Stiefel den Fussboden sehr sauber auf ;-))

Sciarpa scozzese in Mohair

Sono i giorni più freddi di questo inverno sinora a Milano, però con un bellissimo sole. Piumini e montoni sono quasi troppo. Allora si può anche mettere una gonna jeans lunga svasata a strisce triangolari strette (fine anni '8') dal disegno un po' scuro, schiarendola con un grande maglione da uomo in cashmere sale e pepe verdino-celeste con del marrone rosso dentro - esattamente come lo sciarpone mohair Vintage di 'CRAIG-NA-CREIDHE - in the Burns' Country, Ayrshire'. 

E molto difficile stabilire la data di produzione di questi scialli, perché vengono fatto praticamente da sempre, e le etichette rimanevano immutati per tanto tempo. Di questo si capisce sia dalla morbidezza (non gratta - fatto insolito in quelli più vecchi) sia dalla targhetta aggiuntiva 'Old Dress Black Watch', che dovrebbe essere dagli anni '80 in poi.

Ho deciso di sfruttare adesso il mio cappotto grigio di Emanuel Ungaro collection (già visto qui ) In 15 anni non l'ho messo molto perché é piuttosto impegnativo, in quanto lungo fino a terra senza gli stivali con zeppa......
