November in Milan - Charity FleaMarket Time

This month traditionally is charity flea market time here in Milan. Churches, humanitarian associations and private institutions  - all collect for months things old and new, classy and kitsch, from H&M to Chanel, to present them right before Christmas to an avid public.

Generally, Milanese women don't really appreciate Vintage, but as it's for a good cause, there are crowds everywhere. And very often designers donate their unsold stock, so it's not unusual to find fairly recent items, too.

Nearly every day a new one opens, so it's a busy month for me.

I have already found lots of interesting items to add to my stock - who knows where I will put that all......

purple suede Tango sandals, made in Argentina, by GRETAFLORA,  on a
late '70 silk jersey afternoon dress

black dress suit made of Silk and STRAW FABRIC by historic Italian brand ODICINI. The jacket is just fabulous!!! It comes with chunky '80 buttons which fortunately can be detached.

70' dark brown leather jacket - not sure about the buttons too, here. Think I will change them.



Mutzo finds that all so boring, yawn.......
