As days become more chilly, but not so cold to ask for a wool coat, a long cardigan knitted of fringed wool in many shades of blue is the perfect choice.
I combined it with a light grey arabesque macrame lace overskirt over a soft black cotton satin longuette, keeping the outfit simple with a long sleeved black silk jersey body by LaPerla - one of the first presents my husband made me (many years ago ;-) ). A small black leather Etienne Aigner clutch (1980') completes the look
Here you can see the structure of the material
The Lalique milk crystal demi-parure is another present of some time ago - I decided to put on only the earrings, the whole set was just too much!
The outfit would look great too with soft wide legged trousers (used to wear it like this before), and the color of the lace goes with nearly everything, from midnight blue to white. In summer the overskirt might be worn with a shorter skirt underneath (I can't afford it any more xoxo)
The cardigan is a wardrobe staple with endless possibilities of combination - how would you style it??
