This year no Christmas Holidays in warm places for me, but the longing is very strong (like you could already see in my last post). While browsing through my i-photo feed I felt the desire to share some pictures with you, to bring to you some holiday mood for still another working week ahead.
Kuda Bandos is the uninhabited sister island to Bandos Island (seen at right in the picture above, and left, below), 20 minutes by speedboat north of Malé. It is a 'picnic isle' where you are only allowed to spend the day. Easy to be reached from the nearby Bandos, it is pure paradise!! Walking around it takes just some minutes!

Heuer gibt es leider keinen Weihnachtsurlaub in wärmeren Gefilden für mich, aber die Sehnsucht ist schon sehr stark! Beim Ansehen der Fotos kam mir der Wunsch, einige davon mit euch zu teilen - vielleicht hilft es ja etwas, den grauen Alltag der nächsten Wochen zu vergessen!
Kuda Bandos ist die unbewohnte Schwesterninsel von Bandos Island (rechts auf dem Bild oben, und unten, links), ca. 20 mit dem Speedboot im Norden von Malé. Es ist eine sogenannte 'Picnic Isle', das heisst man darf sich nur bei Tag dort aufhalten. Sie ist von Bandos aus leicht zu erreichen, und einfach paradiesisch!! Man braucht nur einige Minuten, um rundherum zu gehen.....

Quest'anno per le vacanze di Natale andrò in montagna, ma la nostalgia per il mare caldo e fortissima!! Si vede già nell'ultimo post, no?? ;-)
Cosi ho pensato di infilare uno con foto delle Maldive, più esattamente dell'isola di Kuda Bandos.
Kuda Bandos é la gemella disabitata di Bandos Island (nella foto sopra a destra, sotto, a sinistra), ca. 20 minuti al nord di Malé con lo speedboat. E un 'picnic isle', dove ci si puo trattenere solo di giorno. Dista poco da Bandos, e facilmente raggiungibile, ed é un paradiso!! Ci vuole qualche minuto per girare intorno...

I visited the Maldives on a cruise down the Indian Ocean, from Dubai to the isle of Mauritius, with Costa NeoRomantica. Kuda Bandos is the place I liked most (together with the Seychelles, but all the other destinations were beautiful, too), and long to go there for a whole holiday!
Ich habe die Malediven im Zuge einer Kreuzfahrt im Indischen Ozean mit Costa NeoRomantica besucht, und Kuda Bandos hat mir am besten gefallen (aber alle anderen Stationen waren auch toll, vor allem die Seychellen), und würde sehr gerne für einen Badeurlaub dorthin zurückkehren!
Ho visitato le Maldive nel corso di una crociera nell'Oceano Indiano con Costa NeoRomantica, e Kuda Bandos é il posto che mi é piaciuto di più (anche se era bello dappertutto), e mi piacerebbe tanto tornare per una vacanza!
